Klaserie, Timbavati and Umbabat private nature reserves
We offer exceptional hunting in the Timbavati, Klaserie and Umbabat Private Nature Reserves. These Reserves form part of the Associated Private Nature Reserves, which allows free movement of game across 432 000 acres of land. The area is made up of Mopani bushveld, Acacia schrub, watering holes and riverbeds that attracts a huge variety of game that includes Elephant, Buffalo, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Kudu and several other antelope. These in turn attract a number of predators, such as Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena, which makes this a popular choice for a ‘real’ African wildlife experience. Clients will experience a total free range hunt with a classic African tented camp – not fenced. It is definitely one of the best and premier dangerous game hunting concessions in Africa today where one can see numerous Elephant and around 2,000 – 3,000 Buffalo in a seven day hunt.
Please contact us for a detailed quotation on hunting in these areas since permits are allocated at least 12 – 18 months in advance through a tender/bid system.
Totalling in excess of 84 000 acres in the majestic Limpopo Province of South Africa that hosts 23 different species including Cape Buffalo, Leopard, Roan and Sable. The Limpopo area is known for Mopane bushveld, huge Baobab trees and rocky outcrops that adds to excellent hunting and to the uniqueness of this area. We have also decided to put 27 000 acres aside strictly for bow hunting since the number of bow hunting clients increase every season.
Mauricedale Private Game Reserve / Riverside
Located in the Mpumalanga province. 25 000 acres on the boundary of Kruger National Park. One of the most picturesque areas in South Africa with Buffalo, White and Black Rhino roaming freely and an abundance of plains game adds to the magnificent beauty of this area.
Trophy hunting is available year round in South Africa, although our summer months (Nov through Feb ) tend to be very hot and is also our rainy season. The best period is from March through end October. Due to the vastness of all the areas, the locating of game is done by travelling in a Land Cruiser hunting vehicle from where all hunting is done on foot.
